The Essentials for Every Post We Publish

Successful guest contributions are comprehensive, data-driven, and interesting posts that teach our readers something new about the world of business.

We’re interested in publishing any topic that Amazonians care about, which includes things like brand building, influencer marketing, launching and ranking of Amazon FBA listings, Business development tips and hacks, reviews and ratings growth,  and wider Amazon trends, among other things.

Our Editorial Recommendations

Our content needs to meet five pillars of quality:

  • Topic. Your topic must be relevant and targeted toward our audience. Strive to write the best post on your topic ever published on the web.
  • Research. Do your homework. Link to reputable sources. Use data and statistics to back up your claims.
  • Keyword. Your chosen keyword should be well-aligned with the search intent behind your topic.
  • Comprehensiveness. Cover your topic in whole. Don’t leave out any steps or information that are necessary for readers to apply your advice. Ideally, a reader should fully understand your topic, without needing to read another post. We don’t enforce a strict word count on the blog, but most articles should fall in the 1,000 – 1,800 word range. Instead of trying to hit a specific word count, focus on clear, in-depth explanations that readers of different levels can understand and learn from. It’s better to over-explain a concept than under-explain and leave some readers in the dark.
  • Presentable. Always make your content presentable. Paragraphs should be no more than three to five sentences long and formatted using H2s, H3s, and H4s, when appropriate. Add bulleted lists to help break up dense copy chunks. Numbered lists should be formatted as number + period. Always include a conclusion. When including images, gifs, or screenshots, cite the image source as: “Image source” and hyperlink that text with the page you found the image on.
